At Journee to a New Heart, our mission is to provide unwavering support to families navigating the path to cardiac recovery ensuring that every "Journee to a New Heart" is met with hope, community and the gift of life.

We support eligible families with hospital care packages and financial assistance (gas, food, bills).

Our History

Journee to a New Heart was founded by the family of Journee Dumas, a brave teenage girl who was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. Having witnessed Journee's courageous road to recovery following a heart transplant, we saw firsthand the power of community. In honor, this foundation was created to provide that same vital support for other families facing similar challenges.
